I know there are exceptions, but I am going to indulge myself in sweeping generalizations for a moment. Mostly, the girls love to have their photo taken, and they've spent weeks choosing the right outfits and planning their hairstyle and makeup, and they are full of ideas and ready with poses and smiles. The guys, on the other hand, do it for mom. They come as they are, and they don't really care what pictures I take, but they are good sports about the whole thing. Even so, I can't help thinking they are secretly pleased to have their good looks and charm captured in photos. Mike was true to form, patient and cheerful, with big brown eyes and a ready smile. His girlfriend tagged along so I caught some together sweetness.
