Sometimes you meet a person who it seems like you've known forever; you just seem to speak the same language. In Heather's case I think I know why that is... she grew up in a small Missouri town just down the highway from my Kansas hometown, which in the expansive midwest makes us practically neighbors. With the holidays on our minds, we covered everything from turducken to green been casserole and just about chatted all afternoon! Heather asked me for some Christmas photos for her mom, and especially some images with her little dog Gus. She warned me that he might be shy, but no worries, I found the perfect assistant for dog photography... a chattering, teasing squirrel!
